When you workout with your personal trainer you stay interested and motivated. You can try new more effective exercises with a friendly expert who knows you and will help you reach your goals.
Fitness-in-Torbay is the name for Torbay’s exercise referral programme and is designed to help more people to become more active, more often.
The program is a 10-week supervised exercise programme that is either gym based or swimming pool based. You will attend two supervised exercise sessions per week over the 10-week period.
How do I take part?
The GP, practice nurse or health professional who referred you to Fitness-in-Torbay will have given you a referral form and a questionnaire with an information pack.
Please complete the questionnaire and bring the referral form to Lifestyle reception. We will then make an appointment for you to have an assessment with a qualified instructor prior to starting the programme.
I have been a qualified Personal Trainer, fitness and aerobics instructor for the past 18 years.
