Aqua Babies
Getting your baby used to water early is important from a safety point of view and it's the only activity where babies are completely independent, especially before they can walk or crawl unaided. The water supports their weight and they are free to move their legs and arms as much as they want. Your child won't be co-ordinated enough to learn to swim properly until they are 2 or 3, but by encouraging them to feel confident and relaxed in the water you can make swimming a fun way to exercise for both of you.

Newts
Our Newts class works to introduce and develop children's' water confidence. Most of the lesson is carried out in the main pool and the children are encouraged to become less dependent on their parent/guardian (who will need to accompany them in the water) and try more activities with the teacher as a group.
