The dust has finally settled after the 71st SWBBA Annual Championships which were a huge success. This is in no small way helped by the professionalism and dedication shown by yourself and your team, not only on the day itself but in the preparation for the event. I have received many comments and congratulatory remarks on the success and the smooth efficient running of the day. Attentive, polite and courteous
Now, I am a fussy guy - but there was absolutely nothing I could fault with the entire event, your team were outstanding. Everything was done as promised and on time. Every member of staff was so attentive, polite and courteous. Having been at the centre for 20 years, I can honestly say that the food was the best I have ever tasted, piping hot and cooked to perfection. Service was quick and precise with the coffee going down just 75 mins after the starter.
There were so many positive comments about every aspect of the evening from our guests - many surprised at what the centre offered. Mark on the bar had his team working well, taking orders from the tables frequently, Georgia kept me informed how things were behind the scenes every step of the way. It was a masterclass on how to host an event!

Most successful conference to date
The 7th International Conference on UNESCO Global Geoparks took place at the Riviera International Conference Centre, 27-30 September 2016, and involved 700 delegates from over fifty countries. As Conference Director I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism of the team at the RICC, from pre-sales and event organisation, to event management and support during the event.
Every request we made was met with enthusiasm and a speedy response, ensuring a world class experience for delegates as well as the conference organisers. In fact my clients stated that this was their most successful conference to date, and feedback from senior colleagues at UNESCO and from around the globe was incredibly positive.
The audio visual supplier to the RICC, ESW, also went beyond the call of duty to ensure smooth delivery across numerous parallel and plenary sessions, as well as significant support to the technically challenging opening ceremony. The RICC delivered first class service and the help and support of the highly competent team there helped to create an event that will live in the memories of the Global Geoparks community for years to come.- David Randall - Global Geoparks Conference

We are going back again for this year
Due to renovation and building work at our normal venue, our organisation had to seek and alternative for our Annual Meeting. We chose the Riviera International Conference Centre ,We were absolutely delighted with the help and assistance that we received from the Management and Staff at the Centre, they could not have been more helpful. So much so that we are going back again for this year, and quite likely for many years to come. The catering was also very good quality and reasonably priced.
