Participants of Lifestyle’s Aerobathon 2010 enjoyed an evening of Boot Camp, Salsasize and Yoga among many other sessions on Friday 29th January during a marathon aerobic workout that was all in the name of Charity.  The event attracted 66 participants who were all keen to dance, leap and twist the night away in order to raise some much needed funds for Rowcroft Hospice.  

‘What a fantastic night it was!” Said Rachel Bell, PR & Communications Manager for Rowcroft Hospice.  “And I would like to express a huge thank you to all those that took part, you all did amazingly well and showed great stamina!”

The evening involved 3 hours of non-stop aerobics, which was then followed by a buffet.  The registration fee was £10 and 100% of this will be donated to Rowcroft.  In addition, many participants have also raised further sponsorship which has pushed the total figure to over £2,500 with sponsorship money still being received.    

“We’re thrilled with how much money has been raised already,” said Colin Pemberton, Lifestyle Health and Fitness Suite Manager, “and once all the donations have been received we can then announce the top fundraiser who will win a Lifestyle 12 month Aerobic Membership worth £370.”
