Torquay’s Riviera International Centre is proving to be a big hit with sports clubs from across South Devon who have decided to use the facilities on offer to hold their awards and presentation events.

Among the various clubs who have chosen the centre as their ‘home’ for the evening are Torquay Lawn Tennis Club, Torquay Skittles League, Torquay Rugby Club, Torquay Squash Club, Totnes and District Skittles League and Newton Abbot ’66 AFC.

The centre, which boasts a number of keen sportsmen and women amongst its staff, has a variety of rooms of various sizes which are suitable for special events.

Centre MD, Barry Cole, explained: “We’re excited that so many of our local sports clubs have picked us as a venue for their special nights. We understand how important these events are to the individual clubs and their members and always do our best to cater to their requirements.

“We enjoy playing such an important role in the local community.”
