Kids Go Free in February

In line with the new Tourism Strategy to boost visitors to the English Riviera, a new promotion entitled ‘Kids Go Free in February’ has been introduced by the English Riviera tourist board.  Many local attractions are participating allowing one junior to enjoy free entry with every full paying adult.   The promotion targets February as this is a particularly quiet period for tourists and aims to counteract the Winter weather with the savings that visitors could achieve once they arrive.    

With a definite link between accommodation occupancy figures and visitor levels to local attractions, it seems only reasonable to suggest that if this promotion is a success, not only accommodation providers will reap the benefits but also retail and others business who welcome tourists.  

Waves Leisure Pool is one of the attractions that is taking part.  “We are really happy to take part in this promotion,” says Tanya Brimicombe, Waves Manager, “in the hope that not only will we see a surge in numbers to the Pool during February, but that all local Businesses will benefit from more visitors. During February half term our numbers are generally high anyway, particularly if there’s adverse weather conditions, but outside of this week, like many other attractions in the area, we would be pleased to see more visitors to the English Riviera.”
