Riviera International Centre invests in its managers
23.06.08
Managers at Torquay’s Riviera International Centre have been working hard to develop their skills and complete nationally recognised training.
The training is part of the Centre’s ongoing commitment to learning and development, developing its staff and helping them to reach their full potential.
Barry Cole, Riviera International Centre MD, explained: “We run a full programme of NVQ courses and have found them extremely effective with many managers seeing a very real benefit of using the qualifications to advance people, teams and the business.
“As a result of this investment in our staff we’ve invested further in NVQs as a means of training across the Centre with five of our managers the latest staff to train and gain further qualifications – four gaining Level 4 and one Level 5.
“It’s taken them a lot of time and hard work in gaining these very impressive qualifications.”
The managers who have completed their NVQ Level 4 in management are Horace Ham who is now working towards Level 5; Alan Meyer, Tanya Brimicombe, Colin Pemberton and Ben Axon. Claire Newberry has completed her Level 5 in operations management.
