Top Aerobathon fundraiser raises 510 pounds for Rowcroft.
The efforts of the participants who took part in an Aerobathon in late January has resulted in the grand sum of £2970.27 being raised for Rowcroft Hospice.
“We are delighted with how much money has been raised for the hospice,” said Rachel Bell, PR & Communications Manager for Rowcroft Hospice. “And would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Lifestyle Heath and Fitness Suite for organising and staging this event.”
The Aerobathon involved 3 hours of non-stop aerobic routines to get participants blood pumping including jumping jacks, downward facing dog as well as the grapevine amongst many others. ,
“When I heard about the Aerobathon in December I leapt at the chance to take part,” said Lorraine Coulter. Lorraine raised £510 in sponsorship and has been named as the top fundraiser of the event winning a 12 month Aerobic Membership worth £370. “All my sponsorship has been obtained from family and friends, “said Lorraine “and so I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their generosity.”
