The return visit of Buddy - aka Marc Robinson - takes place at the Riviera International Centre in September, following on from a hugely successful performance at the Centre in February.

The Holly tribute - with dancing - was given its first test at the Centre when 400 seats were removed leaving a large dance floor at the front.

As promoter Ray Thomas of Rocking Planet Promotions, explained: "It's how rock and roll concerts should be enjoyed.

"People often say to us that they want to get up but don't want to just dance by their seats or in the aisles. This way there will be a lot of room for people to have a good dance."

The show is being staged again on September 20 following high demand to bring Marc and his band, the Counterfeit Crickets, back to the venue.

Special guests will be The Hothouse Playboys.

Marc, who started his Buddy career in the early 1990s as the front man of Bootleg Buddy, has appeared as Buddy in the touring stage production, and is one of the leading performers of the late rock 'n' roll star's music.
