It was a party to remember when over 200 children helped to make up a gathering of 431 guests who attended the Newton 66 Football Club annual dinner and presentation of prizes at Torquay’s Riviera International Conference Centre.

It’s the biggest event of the year for the league and involves a full 12 months of planning for hard working secretary Kay Fice, ably assisted by Andy Kelly along  with help from the Riviera Centre’s conference and events manager Simon Jolly and events co-ordinator Laura Nuttall.

Newton 66 AFC caters for 10 different age groups for both boys and girls aged between 8 and 16 and many of them were over the moon to collect their cups and trophies from the club chairman Brennan Mountfield at the presentation ceremony, proudly watched by their parents.
