Reach for the Skies…. That’s exactly what the people of Torbay are being invited to do when the Red Arrows arrive in the resort.

Thousands of local residents and holidaymakers throng the seafront and surrounding hillsides to watch the stunning display of the ace pilots and this year one of the Bay’s top restaurants  – the Bay Brasserie at Torquay’s Riviera International Centre is offering the chance for people to enjoy a bird’s eye VIP view of the spectacular fly past.

The Red Arrows will be performing on Sunday  August 20th and the Bay Brasserie is combining the excitement of the display with the opportunity to enjoy a two course buffet meal.

Guests will be encouraged to arrive at 5.30pm in time to collect their glass of bubbly to watch the Red Arrows at 6pm which will then be followed by the buffet.

Bay Brasserie manager Jenny Thompson explained: “We will be opening especially for this breathtaking event and entry will be by ticket only, priced at £15 per head.  The balcony outside the Bay Brasserie will be the perfect place to relax and watch the display VIP style.”

The following Thursday – August 24th – the Bay Brasserie will be ‘dressing up’ to hold another successful theme night, this time with a sunny Caribbean theme. The restaurant will be featuring a colourful evening with live authentic music from Antigua Joe along with a Caribbean style three course BBQ, all for the price of £21 per person, including a bottle of wine per couple.
