Forget the rain…just think of summer. The  sun, the sangria, bbq’s and of course
those summer sales.

But we are not talking clothes on this occasion but a Summer Sale at Torquay’s Riviera International  Centre’s Lifestyle health and fitness suite which  is holding a three month promotion to help encourage people to keep up their fitness programmes.

The Centre is offering a 20 per cent reduction of one and three month memberships and special sale prices for the aerobic, sunbed and cardio cycling sessions for the months of June, July and August.

In addition, there’ll be no joining fees for any new members and complimentary induction and fitness assessments with selected memberships.

Marketing manager Jenny Thompson explained: “We all look forward to the summer and with the obvious attractions of the warm sunshine and outside BBQ’s there is a tendency for some of us to forget about our health and fitness. We have decided therefore to ‘keep up with the shops and stores’ and offer a prolonged summer sale to encourage people to maintain their healthy keep fit programmes.”
