It’s Mad Mad March but it’s also the perfect month to enjoy quality family time keeping fit and having fun before the busy summer season is upon us.

That’s the message from Torquay’s Riviera International Centre, which is reducing its charges to Waves Leisure Pool to encourage more families to exercise and enjoy time together.

Marketing manager Jenny Thompson explained: “We want to remind the people of South Devon that they have on their doorstep a quality indoor attraction that can be enjoyed all the year round. As a really crazy promotion to persuade families to come down and visit us during Mad March, we have decided to reduce our swims to just £1.

“There are no catches, everyone can swim for just £1 any day of the week
(except for the Wednesday and Friday night Fun Nights) throughout March although it will be advisable to check on the admission policy and opening times beforehand. It means a family of five could save £5.80 on normal charges.”

Managing director Barry Cole added: “This is just another of our ‘hare’ brained ideas…… March Mad Hares and a giveaway deal! Every now and then we feel like being generous so we hope residents of Torbay and South Devon will make the most of it and visit our Waves Leisure Pool and have great fun.”
