Festive Skating Fun at the Riviera Centre

Published: Tue 25th October 2011

Following on from the success of Torquay's indoor Christmas ice skating rink last year, this winter will see its return to the Riviera Centre, accompanied by even more fun activities.

Activities for adults and children include bouncy castles, slides, climbing wall, face painting and hair braiding. There will also be an onsite cafe serving refreshments throughout the day.

The return of the skating rink has been warmly welcomed by the Riviera International Centre. "It was fantastic to see so many people enjoying themselves on the ice last year, said Jenny Thompson, Operations Manager of the Riviera Centre. "And so we are excited to be welcoming back the rink again this year with the added bonus of many additional activities to keep all the family active and entertained for even longer."

Events Company LAMBCO will once again be bringing this event back to Torquay. Managing Director, Richard Lambert said: "The Christmas Skating Rink and Fun Arena will have a Disney theme running throughout and will be great entertainment for all the family." Plus as the rink is located undercover, you can stay dry and warm all day, a definite advantage over outside ice rinks!"

The rink will be open to the public from 10am until 6pm on Wednesday 15th December through to Monday 3rd Monday. Adult Only Nights will also take place from 7pm to 10pm on Wednesday 15th, 22nd and 29th December.

Discounts will be available for multi-activity tickets. For more information visit www.christmasskatingrink.co.uk
