Q: How often are the waves on?
A: During Term time the waves are on every half hour except, during Sunrisers, Aquasize, swimming lessons, Adults Only Night, Aqua Aerobics and when the inflatable is in the water. During the School Holidays the waves are on every half hour except during Sunrisers, Adults Only Night, Aqua Aerobics and when the inflatable is in the water.

Q: What is the temperature of the pool?
A: Water is heated to 29 degrees

Q: When is the flume open?
A: During term time on Fridays from 4pm – 8pm / Saturdays & Sundays 9.30am – 4pm. During School Holidays it runs daily from 9.30am – until close.

Q: What is the Admissions Policy for Waves?
A: Children under 8 years and non swimmers under the age of 11 must be accompanied in the water by a competent swimmer aged 16 or over. Swimmers aged 8 years or over may be allowed in the pool unaccompanied, however if the lifeguard is not satisfied with the standard of swimming the child will be asked to leave the pool for their own safety. A competent swimmer aged 16 or over can be responsible for up to two children under the age of 8 in the water. No under 5’s, non swimmers or children wearing armbands are permitted to ride the flume.

Q: Are Lifeguards on duty at all times?
A: Yes

Q: Is there a time limit whilst in the pool?
A: During busy periods it may be necessary for safety reasons to introduce a queuing system into the pool. This is done by coloured wrist bands. The minimum swimming time having bought a ticket will 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Q. Do you have disabled facilities?
A: Yes we have disabled access and parking (car parking charges still apply) as well as both Male & Female Disabled Changing Rooms. We do not have a hoist to gain access to the pool, however we can provide you with our wheelchair that can be pushed into the pool as we have a sloping entry.

Q; Where do I hand in my pool entry ticket?
A: To the lifeguards in the poolside kiosk, situated on poolside as you walk through the footbaths.

Q: Do you have Family Changing Rooms?
A: Unfortunately we do not, however you can use our Disabled Changing Area if it is free. This is allocated next to the kiosk on poolside.

Q: Where can I park?
A: On site pay & display parking is available. Receive a £1.50 discount off a swim or £3 off lunch in the Brasserie upon presentation of your car park voucher (valid on day of purchase). For Car Park information click here.
