TORQUAY and District Scottish Society enjoyed a huge turnout at their annual Burns Day lunch on Sunday afternoon.
Guests enjoyed a three-course lunch, including haggis and all the trimmings, at the Riviera International Conference Centre.
Toasts to Robert Burns and the 'Lassies' were made by society president Hugh MacDonald and former Totnes mayor David Horsburgh.
The afternoon was rounded off by speeches and traditional Scottish dancing. Torbay Council chairman Ray Hill and his wife Patricia also attended.
